Making the board look like yours
Your colour, corner radius, typeface, backgrounds, logo and scheme — and what they reach beyond the hosted board.
Open Theming in your workspace. Everything here is on every plan — branding is not something we hold back.
The six values
| Brand colour | Every accent: buttons, vote counts, the header mark. |
| Page background | The board's own background, light and dark set separately. |
| Corner radius | In pixels, from square to fully rounded. |
| Typeface | From the set, applied to the whole board. |
| Logo | SVG or PNG under 512KB. Replaces the monogram in the board header. |
| Default scheme | Light, dark, or follow the visitor's own setting. |
Each one previews as you change it, and nothing is saved until you press save.
Your logo
Pick a file and the thumbnail changes immediately — the line under it says it has not gone up yet, because it uploads when you save.
Only SVG and PNG, and only under 512KB. If the file is refused, nothing else on the screen saves either: somebody who picked the wrong file did not ask to change their brand colour at the same time.
Remove then save puts the monogram back.
Default scheme
System follows whatever the visitor's own device is set to, which is usually what you want. Light or Dark forces it, and the board stays that way for a visitor whose device says the opposite.
What this reaches
These values are not only the hosted board. The embed widget reads the same six, so a board inside your product arrives in your colours rather than ours.
If you want the widget to match the page it sits on more exactly, your own site's CSS can override any of them — see the widget.
The nolby badge
A small Powered by nolby sits in your board footer. It is how people find us, and it is why the free tier can be as generous as it is.
On the Brand plan you can turn it off, on this screen. On Free and Pro the switch is visible, disabled, and says what removing it costs — we would rather sell you the removal than pretend the option is not there.
It is the tier that decides, every time the footer renders. Turning it off while on Brand and later dropping to a lower plan puts the badge back.
