Plans, cancelling, and what a downgrade keeps
Upgrading, changing plan, receipts, and exactly what happens to your boards if you stop paying.
Open Billing in your workspace. It shows the plan you are on, what you pay, when it renews, and every payment you have made. The current prices are on the pricing page.
Billing is the owner's seat only. An admin runs everything else and cannot see or change what you pay.
Upgrading
Pick a plan and you are taken to a checkout. Pay, and you come back to the Billing screen on the new plan — everything the plan includes works immediately, with nothing to restart or re-enter.
If you are already paying and want to move up a tier, use Manage subscription rather than buying again. That opens the provider's portal, which changes your existing subscription and charges you the difference for the rest of the period. Buying a second time would be two subscriptions on one workspace.
Monthly or annual is your choice at checkout, and annual is two months cheaper. There are no annual-only features.
Cancelling
Cancel is on the Billing screen and takes one press. Nothing is hidden behind an email to us, and there is nothing to ask permission for.
You keep everything until the period you already paid for ends. The screen says Cancelled — active until that date. You are not cut off on the day you cancel, because you paid for the month.
Change your mind before then and Resume puts it back as it was — same subscription, same renewal date, no new charge.
What a downgrade takes away
When a cancelled subscription reaches its end date, or a payment finally fails, you go back to Free. What that does is narrow:
Nothing you made is deleted, hidden, or made public. Every board you created is still there and still readable. A private board stays private — it is not quietly opened to the world because you stopped paying.
What stops is creating more past the free limits, and the features the paid tiers include: the nolby badge comes back, a custom domain stops serving, and anything plan-gated is refused until you upgrade again.
Upgrading again restores all of it. Nothing had to be rebuilt in between.
Receipts
Every payment writes a row on the Billing screen with its date, its amount and a link to the receipt. They are there as soon as the payment clears, and you do not have to ask us for one.
Tax is handled by our payment provider, who is the merchant of record — so a receipt carries whatever your country requires without us doing anything.
Deleting your workspace
While a subscription is live, Delete organisation is disabled and says so. Cancel first. Deleting takes the boards, the posts, the people and any custom domain with it, and the slug does not become available again.
